Shipstar acts in advisory capacity. We help businesses gauge market potential, set up online catalogs, connect with payment service providers and understand the regulatory and compliance related nuances. The merchants enter into a direct relationship with PSPs and marketplace companies through a bilateral agreement- to which Shipstar is not a party. The onus of merchant background vetting lies with the Payment Agregators, PSPs and for that matter, the merchants are expected to share related documents, declarations to the PSPs and marketplace companies. The final commercial negotiations, technical integration and onboarding is subject to direct interaction between the merchant and its principal partner ( PSPs , online marketplaces). Both parties therefore indemnify Shipstar and hold the company, its directors, employees, advisors- harmless from any dispute or regulatory issue arising out of their association.
